Centuries ago pilgrims brought the first coffee seedlings to India from Yemen. These were planted at Bababuda hills and still grow till this day. The monsoon process is a unique and rare procedure that coffee goes through in order to replicate the effect that the salty sea air had on coffee travelling from India to Europe in the old days.
